Claire Wilson

Coach: (Pre-K, Intro A, Intro B)

“I began cheerleading at the age of 7 when I attended McIntosh cheer mini camps and cheered for the PTC chiefs rec league. Shortly after, I began taking tumbling classes and doing all stars teams. I then cheered at Booth middle school, McIntosh High school, and the University of Georgia. I love the sense of community and family that cheerleading provided me for not only the 15 years I cheered, but also the tight knit community that has followed me into my life as a retired cheerleader. I love that I’m still close with former teammates and coaches no matter how much time goes by. Although UGA won two national championships in football while I cheered there, I was truly there for the cheerleading not the football: stunting, tumbling, band dances, engaging the crowd, but mostly, cheering alongside my teammates and making memories I would cherish forever.”
